Recipe: Spiced Tea

Summary: Steven Cantrell’s spiced tea recipe. It’s sure to warm you up on cold nights with a great spiced citrus taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Lipton instant tea
  • 1 cup TANG
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 packet Lemonade Kool Aid
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients into a common container.
  2. Use 1 tablespoon per cup of hot water

Queso

Recipe: Maple Queso

Summary: Chips die to be dipped into it..This queso makes a great party favorite and continues to be a draw everywhere we take it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Maple sausage
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese 2% milk variety or regular
  • 1 can Rotel – Hot
  • 1 can Rotel – Cilantro Lime
  • 2 cans Rotel – Original

Instructions

  1. Cook maple sausage and throughly drain and pat dry grease
  2. Finally chop sausage and continue to pat dry grease
  3. Cube Velveeta cheese and partially melt using microwave (Typically 5 minutes is sufficient)
  4. Mix all Rotel cans and sausage into the Velveeta
  5. Continue heating mix in microwave until Velveeta is completely melted and stir (Typically 5 more minutes)
  6. Allowing to cool will thicken mix

Meal type: hors d’oerves
